On　the　evening　of　November　21st，　the　2024　World　Vocational　College　Skills　Final　Competition　held　in　Tianjin．　Five　qualified　teams　from　home　and　abroad　competed　for　the　championship．　As　an　important　event　of　the　2024　World　Vocational　and　Technical　Education　Development　Conference，this　competition　has　attracted　much　attention　from　all　walks　of　life．More　than　1，400　guests　from　over　40　countries　came　to　watch　the　final．

After　a　fierce　competition，Tianjin　Light　Industry　Vocational　Technical　College　won　the　champion，　Zhejiang　Polytechnic　University　of　Mechanical　and　Eletrical　Engineering　and　Tianjin　Maritime　College　won　the　runner－up，　Lycée　André　Argouges　à　Grenoble　and　Myanmar　Shwe　bo　Government　Technical　College　won　the　third　place．

The　sound　of　mechanical　collision　could　be　heard　at　the　competition　site，　and　the　audience　fully　felt　the　goal　positioning　of　the　competition　is＂select　from　real　scenes，　solve　real　problems，　and　show　real　skills＂．　The　projects　were　really　close　to　the　actual　needs　of　the　industry．Although　the　problems　to　be　solved　are　different，　but　the　solutions　all　pointed　to　digitalization　is　the　common　point　of　the　competition，　which　also　reflects　the　trend　of　modern　industry　to　digitalization，intelligence　and　green　transformation　and　upgrading．

Compared　with　previous　years，　this　competition　has　three　major　features．　First，　the　international　style　is　more　sufficient，　the　scope　of　participation　in　the　competition　is　more　extensive，　covering　74　countries　around　the　world，　and　the　number　of　international　participants　has　increased　by　30％．　Second，　the　function　of　comprehensive　education　is　more　prominent．　The　competition　optimized　the　content　and　form，　and　focused　on　the　comprehensive　ability　of　the　contestants　in　solving　practical　problems　on　the　production　line，　teamwork　and　communication　and　expression　ability．　Third，　it　is　more　applicable　and　more　closely　connected　with　industries，　most　of　the　projects　are　derived　from　the　actual　needs　of　the　production　management　service　line　positions．

It　is　reported　that　the　World　Vocational　College　Skills　Competition　is　a　major　institutional　design　and　innovation　in　the　field　of　vocational　education　in　China．　It　is　the　comprehensive　skills　competition　with　the　longest　history　and　the　most　comprehensive　co－sponsored　department　in　China．　As　a　milestone，　the　2024　World　Vocational　College　Skills　Final　Competition　not　only　demonstrates　the　achievements　of　China＇s　vocational　education　reform，　but　also　promotes　the　global　vocational　education　exchange　and　cooperation．　The　competition　provides　a　strong　impetus　for　the　high－quality　development　of　vocational　education　by　promoting　educational　innovation，　deepening　international　cooperation　and　serving　economic　and　social　development．
